Nova Scotia Power Inc., Mersey River NS – Custom Machine Guard Design

TriMac Engineering designed custom machine safeguards for generator and turbine shaft assemblies on 12 hydro turbines along the Mersey River, NS. The modular guard system was developed for easy adaptation to varying machine configurations and was designed in lightweight, manageable sections to simplify handling and installation. Assemblies were designed with manufacturability in mind, and in accordance with applicable CSA machine safeguarding standards (CSA Z432-16).
